ROCOSA Building Elements: The New StructureIn 1995, the principals of Terra Block Inc. approached veteran Canadian financier, Anthony Ghitter, seeking advice on capitalization. That initial meeting turned into a ten-year relationship, during which time Anthony studied, with due diligence, the Terra Block System and its markets. He became convinced of the technology’s vast untapped potential. In 2004, Anthony acquired the Canadian Rights to the Terra Block System, including the rights to manufacture equipment and to use that equipment for construction anywhere in the world. He built an operations and marketing team, and founded ROCOSA Building Elements, Inc. Today, ROCOSA is poised to build locally, nationally and globally. Terra Block: The FoundationThe technology originated in 1979 with Florida inventors and entrepreneurs Robert and Michael Gross, founders of the Terra Block technology. Since 1979, Terra Block has used the technology to construct millions of blocks and thousands of buildings worldwide. They have built houses, schools, churches and commercial facilities, successfully completing projects in Russia, Africa, Asia, Latin America, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United States. In 1998, the company’s rights to intellectual property and patents were transferred to Terra Block Inc., a privately held Florida corporation. This technology and expertise are referred to as the "Terra Block System". Today, Terra Block supports Rocosa with technical expertise, management advice and an impressive track record. ROCOSA and Terra Block are used inter-changably and are copyrighted with all rights reserved.
